Strange MINI Survey from Population Research Systems

Not quite sure where to post this... This forum on this forum seems to be the best place for this but I could be wrong..

Right anyway I received this non-mini survey in the mail last week and I don't know what the deal with this is. I already did the mini dealer survey which is conducted by MINI USA. Now I received this and I'm not sure what the deal is.

Population Research Systems
PO BOX 64894
St. Paul, MN
55164-9944

Has anyone gotten this survey?
Does this survay reward with MINI SWAG or harm your chances of getting future MINI SWAG? Honestly all I care about is if I'm going to get MINI swag for filling this out. If not then I don't see the point.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe it's a scam. You'd better test it for the rest of us.

Festivus!

I emailed my "motoring representive" person about this (the survey, not Festivus). Curious to see what he says.

Festivus, huh? That's on the 23rd, apparently.

There's all kinds of after purchase surveys out there by independent companies. If you want to respond to it, do it. If you don't, throw it away. Every new car I've bought in the last decade, including MINI, has been followed but at least two or three of these type surveys.

I heard back from my dealer. It has nothing to do with them or MINIUSA. Since its not offering me any swag or money to fill it out, I'll probably chuck it. Nabeshin could be correct about the scam thing too, good catch! One can never be too careful.

Thanks.

I got this survey on Monday, and then one from Maritz Research on Thursday. Eight page surveys that I'm supposed to complete out of the goodness of my heart for third party companies? And why are there questions like "what are you wearing" and "do you activate the alarm system when you leave your house"?

(Okay, those questions aren't really there, but it seems that everything else is. Sheesh.)

I was asked if i'd participate in a survey at purchase time and I don't recall that they ever sent me one.

I work for a market research firm that does business with most MR companies out there. If we don't do business with them, we at least know of them. Population Research is not even in our system. Proceed with caution!
