When we got my wife's Cabrio we got the floor mats from the dealership and a nice bag of goodies such as the remote control 1.5 inch mini that drove our cats wild, along with a key chain, hat and lanyard. When I purchased my Mini we got floor mats and an empty plastic Mini bag (?) from the dealership and then the adventure kit from MiniUSA. I don't know about you but I think they liked my wife better.

So as it seems a lot of us did not receive floor mats with our minis. I have an 04 MCS and was wondering if anyone out there knows the dimensions of the mats. I just picked up some diamond plate and am going to make my own and customize but need some help with the dimensions. thanks

I got my Mini there, ended up with a duffle bag and umbrella (they where BMW branded, but nice anyway), an adventure kit and extra key set (3 in total + the plastic spare).

I think I got a free pen, a couple key chains, a ball cap, maybe a t-shirt and some other goodies when I got my 03 MC (I can't really remember, it was over five years ago).

When I picked up the 09 MCS I got the rubber floor mats and my MA installed the bonnet stripes for free. Other than that just a couple of key chains. I imagine I may get some more goodies in the future. My MA is pretty effin' awesome.

I picked up my '09 JCW in mind November 2008. I'm not sure if the dealer threw in freebies, or if the JCW just comes with some extras.

It came with rubber floor mats (MCS branded--not JCW, which would have been nice--no offense to the MCS owners). I also got two key chains, and a toy mini riding car for my daughter. My wife had asked the sales person about the toy, and they threw it in. I'm not sure if they just subtracted the value of the toy from any other freebies I might have been given though.

A few weeks ago I received a marketing package from Mini in the mail. It's probably very similar to the "survival" package that some of the US owners have mentioned. The annoying thing about that was the catalog that it came with which detailed a ton of accessories that either aren't available in Canada, or would have had to have been purchased when the car was ordered. :(

Bought MINI-Fred at Park Lane BMW/MINI outside the gate at RAF Mildenhall here in the UK. Got key-fobs, a small first-aid kit and the nice MINI-branded rubber floormats free; had to go back for the mats as they weren't in the car at delivery. Definitely worth the return visit; with the bad weather here, they are getting a workout and the "stock" floormats were pretty cheesy

Nada... the salesman (can't say MA since he really provided no advice) said he would get fired if he gave anything for free.

...and 7 months later, still haven't received anything from MINI or the dealer (they keep saying I should receive the welcome/adventure kit "in 4 to 6 weeks")

I got the mini s floor mats (front/rear) and a rubber tray in the hatch area. I thought this was part of the car, I didn't realize they gave it to me free of charge. I also got 2 cool mini key rings, not sure if that is standard. then i got a ton of stuff in the mail.

Yep!!!!

I got carpet floor mats and my sport stripes free when I bought my car. My salesmen also sent me some goodies about a month after I made the purchase.

I got rubber floor mats and a keychain. I hassled them a bit more and got a free rubber boot mat with 'manager approval.' Two months later, I got a box with a journal, pen and a few other trinkets.

I think that if the customers order the car, there should definitely be some consideration. After all, it's basically already a sold car, they get closer to their quota AND the customer is agreeing to wait several MONTHS for a new car. Got nothing from my dealer but MINI did send me the Adventure Kit.

I got a free stuffed Mini Bulldog, a Mini Robot figure, a Mini coffee canister and a free iPod adapter with a free install as well. All I did was ask and he delivered. I got all this from Irvine Mini. The rep is gone but they have excellent service.
