AUS MINI Challenge
I saw a clip of some of the racing from youtube. I was wondering...where can I watch more of this? Is this on satellite? (I have cable) Is it possible to buy the races on a DVD? Watching even small clips sends chills down my spine.
It's amazing what MINI's are capable of.

I wonder what kind of engines go in those MINI's and what kind of tuning they have...if I can get behind one of those even for a minute...
damn I think I just soiled something.

The races are televised on free to air TV down under. Don't know if they are available on DVD but I will try to find out for you
The quality of the racing is good, and the lap times they do are pretty impressive.
The cars are basically a full racing spec version of the JCW R56's but the engines are stock! No after market parts or tunes.
They can actually be purchased for $88,000 AUD, and raced in the mini challenge. There is an American guy racing in the comp at the moment...
Here are some links...

They are cool little machines. The one at the local dealer is lime green and black, completely stripped inside. The gauge faces have been painted over to only show the necessary warnings haha. Ill try to stop by and get some photos. The underside of the wing says "If you can read this FLIP ME OVER!"
