Has any other MINI Visa Cardholder out there bought a new MINI and taken advantage of any of the "incentives" offered?

I own an '06 MCS and have had a MINI Visa Card for about 3 years. I'm about to buy a new '09 MCS and haven't quite gotten a straight answer from the MINI Card reps as to what benefits I get as a MINI Cardholder when I buy my new MINI.

I know I can redeem earned points towards MINI Moolah which can be spent at the dealer for things purchasing or installation of dealer-installed items. The reps also said something about receiving a rebate on my new MINI purchase just for being a cardholder and that this isn't tied to redemption of points.

Anyone? What's the real scoop? BTW, my dealer (MINI of San Antonio, TX) claims ignorance on the subject.

I've not had my card very long, so buying a New MINI with points probably not going to happen for awhile. Caoo MINI Card Services @ 866-469-6464 they have been very helpful and always have the answers I'm looking for...couldn't hurt.
