Coolant Expansion Tank Options?

Hey there everybody! To start things off, I have done a search of the site, and I had great difficulty finding anything. I heard mention here or there about an aluminum Expansion Tank, but never any mention of where it was purchased, or who made it.

Any way, does anybody know where I can find some different options for replacing my Expansion Tank? The one that I have on my 2003 MCS has cracked (I do believe, outside of tank has what appears to be evaporated coolant on it, and I am noticing lower levels over time).

I really don't want to replace with the OEM tank, they have a history of cracking and weeping, so I don't want to be bothered with replacing it again...

Any way, ALL suggestions are appreciated!

-Chase

Is it what they are calling a header tank? I've just never heard of it referred to as that before. Thanks for the Suggestion!

Thank you for mentioning that! Not only is it less expensive at minspeed, I would also much prefer to support an actual MINI parts vendor!

Gah! They do look beautiful! If only I had the money around for one! Kind of getting raped by the weak dollar, plus, I don't think that I would want to know what it would cost to ship to me!

But man, it is tempting!
