Hey guys, I have a dumb question for you. I'm a new mini owner and I got an automatic justacooper with the steptronic stuff. And I am wondering---when driving in sport mode, is it better to take your foot off the gas when changing gears, or is it better to leave your foot on the pedal?

I'm just curious as to what you guys are doing, I believe my MA told me to keep my foot on the gas when changing gears.

Keep your foot in it. Letting off on the gas just confuses the ecu and makes for rougher shifts
