If you still need to justify your purchase of a manual, you can always start a thread about it.

Yes and now that I have a S and justa cooper in the family I need to start a thread and can debate with my self as to which one of those is better. I am sure others will chime in.

I have no problems with a JustaCooper as long as it's not an automatic.

Agreed. I'm no where near proficient on a manual so I can't compare and make judgement on which I prefer. But I can say I don't regret buying my automatic. Maybe my next Mini will be a manual, learning to drive stick is something i've always wanted to give a try... but i'm still not convinced i'd perform better than in the automatic.
