FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! ARGGGHH
WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO $^^%#@# SIGN UP FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES!!!!!
I have spent almost 2 hours surfing miniusa's site looking where to sign up so I can make my payment online.
I ended up at "YOUR MONEY" and it shows that you can use "easypay" to make your payments.
However, at the bottom of that screen, it says:
"This vehicle is not signed up for the MINI Financial Services section. If you meant to choose another vehicle that is signed up for the Financial Services Section, use the drop down menu at the top of the page to select another vehicle."
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong.... WTF is so difficult using that site?
Geesh.
Thanks,
Mark

I was just playing around on the MINI website and found this in the Owner's Lounge FAQs:
How do I access the MINI Financial Services tools and make a payment online?
To access MINI Financial Services tools such as online or automatic payments, just click on "Your Money" in the site's main navigation. From there, select "Payment Options" and then select "Make A Payment." Once you are on the payment page, please select "UltimatePay" and follow the instructions to complete your payment. If you have questions about how to use other MINI Financial Services online tools just contact us at (866) MINI-4ME or customerservice@miniusa.com.
Probably won't help much but maybe they'll answer your call or e-mail?

Thanks Gluhwein but that doesn't work for me. I'm logged in under my screenname with my vehicle and vin# showing.
When I go to "Your Money" I can then click on "payment options"
just as you have said.
However, there is no "Make a Payment" button for me to click.
The choice for easy pay and ultimate pay are there to browse but I can't click on anything to actually make the payment.
I'll just have to wait until they open Monday. Thanks for your time.

Did you sign up for paperless statements? We got an email to sign up for paperless statements with a link in the email. (The link went to the Owners Lounge login). This is from the email:
To sign up, simply click the link below and log-in to the MINI Owners' Lounge. And if you're not already a member of the Owners' Lounge, you'll just need your Social Security number, MINI VIN, and MINI Financial Services account number. From there you'll be directed to a page that will let you sign for Paperless Statements.
We didn't have the Financial Services account number at the time and I just put in zero and it let me in, even had the correct account number.
The only other thing I can think of is what browser are you using? Sometimes I have better luck with Firefox over IE.

By now you are better off waiting until tomorrow.
This whole financing thing pretty well sucks: My MINI arrived at the dealer a week and a half ago. I'm financing through my credit union because they are much much cheaper than BMW/MINI. First they were closed for three days due to Labor Day. Tuesday my MA was off. Wednesday I couldn't reach him until the evening when my credit union was already closed. He needed the pay-off amount on my trade since the credit union has the title to my trade-in. He reached them Thursday with most of the info. All this time I knew I wouldn't be picking up the car last week because the credit union has to mail me a check, but Friday I called my MA back thinking everything was resolved and maybe I'd get the check Monday. He now had the pay-off but couldn't get his fax of the invoice through because Atlanta Postal Credit Union's lines were continually busy. I called the credit union in the meantime. They said the check was cut (but for $500 more than I was expecting) and that the interest rate was 4.25% - a half pct less than I expected. All they were waiting on was the invoice. Last time I talked to my MA he was on his 4th try at sending the faxed invoice. I haven't heard a thing yet.
Best case scenario for me right now is that maybe the credit union will get in touch with me after work tomorrow, send out the check Tuesday and maybe, just maybe, I'll get to pick-up my car this weekend. Meanwhile I'm adding 50 miles a day on my trade which I'm sure counts against me. Plus my MA said my car is out on display in the showroom which sounded pretty cool at first, but now my wife is livid claiming every little snot walking through there will be touching, scratching, peeing or whatever else little kids do around bright shiny yellow things.
I'm trying not to get mad at either side in this because my MA seems like a very enthusiastic nice guy and my credit union has always been exceptionally accomodating and friendly, but I'm starting to lose my resolve. It also looks like I may have a bit of a fight on my hands when I pick-up the car since my loan doesn't match what my Vehicle Inquiry Report and purchase order indicate. I was already prepping to do battle over the whole sales tax savings controversy as well as the exorbitant charge listed for transferring my Pennsylania tags. On top of that, I was hoping to get some free car mats thrown in. This is gonna be interesting.

Sorry it's not working for you but keep trying, it's worth it. I've used it from the start and made all payments that way. Payments are posted immediately, no need for days of lead time. Shows breakdown of principal and interest paid, along with current payoff.
I had better quit before this really pisses me off. How freakin' hard can it be to log into a stupid website?
I open up miniusa.com's page.
I click on owner's lounge at the bottom right of the screen.
I log in with my screenname and password.
My 2008 Mini S is showing in the drop down box.
I click on "Your money"
and get this...

WTF????

I don't think so... I think I only signed up for the Owner's Lounge and Insider something or other....
Where do you sign up for financial services? Perhaps that's my problem....

Try updating your profile. This is from the FAQS:
How do I access my MINI Financial Services Account through the Owners' Lounge? To access your MINI Financial Services account through the Owners' Lounge you'll just need to add some information to your profile. First, click "Update Profile" from the main menu. If you are asked to enter your MINI FS account number and social security number, please confirm these items. After that you'll be able to access your MINI FS information through the "Your Money" link. If you don't have access to your MINI Finacial Service account and are not prompted to confirm your account number on the "Update Profile" page, please contact MINI Financial Services at (866) MINI-4ME or customerservice@miniusa.com.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will work for you.

Okay, now I see why.... I assumed that since the profile had all my info, that I was considered "registered".
Nowhere in there does it ask for my SS number and account number.
Thanks for your help, I thought I was an idiot....
I'll call mini tomorrow.
