I wanted to let you know that I received the package today!

Wow...I didn't realize the badges were so substantial! Puts my other badges to shame! Who makes those badges?

I especially enjoyed the other surprise! Did you do that beadwork yourself? It is absolutely stunning! I'm considering hanging it from the rearview mirror or adding it (somehow) to the sunroof screen.

The badge is from Cooper Flags. I also have another badge or two from somewhere else, but the Cooper Flags badges are my favorites!

As for the bead, yes, I make glass beads and I made that one. I actually have one in a different color, with the tassel, hanging from MY rear view mirror!!! Thought it would look cute in Shultze!!! I'm glad you like it!!!

Did I read something about a bead? Okay Erika, I'm a beader as well (that would explain the N2 BEADZ personalized plate on the Mini), I expect to see that beauty hanging on Schultze.

Lynn, how sweet to offer up the free badge. I can't wait to see the added extra goodie the next time I see Erika. I have many of my lampworked beads and beadwork displayed in my Mini. I think the area Mini people think I'm a bead nut. They're right, I am.

 

Well, everyone in my neck of the woods know that I like glass as my plate is GLS GRL (Glass Girl)! I had a dark blue hollow floral bead that I made that was close to the color of Shultze so I put it on a black tassel for Erika. I don't know Erika, but it broke my heart to see what happened to Shultze so I thought I would send her a token of mutual "MINI love" for support!

I met Erika today for a late afternoon coffee/lunch date. I brought along a few different items for her to play with to hang her bead and tassle. It's an excellent addition to Shultze's interior attire. She took a pic with her cell phone, but will maybe have to use another camera to get a better shot. Shultze looks good sporting a bead and tassel. The badge was looking rather nice displayed on the boot also. Erika was very impressed with the quality of that badge compared to some of the others we have.

 

Please pardon me for "crashing" this tread, but I was in VA beach last Wed- Friday and only ONE Mini gave me a good wave the whole 3 days- it was a red Mini with a white roof- (I have a green w/white roof) it was around Indian River Road I think on Wed or Thurs afternoon....was it you?

 

Probably, because I try to wave like a MAD LADY at every Mini I catch. I have to admit that there is another red with white roof Mini that travels this area. Mine has the front driving lights with the white covers. I also have a red hibiscus flower sticker on each white mirror. In case you missed that, I'm white and the other lady is black. I've ran into her at the bank and grocery store along with seeing her on the road about once every two weeks. We always wave like crazy at each other.

I live outside of Philadelphia and from Phila-VAB-Charlottesville-back to Phila- YOU were the only one who gave me a good wave, so a hardy thanks! (we did not see too many Mini's the whole trip)

I wave all the time; it's nice when you get a response!
