Dealer decals

Have any of your dealers placed dealer logo stickers/decals on your MINI's at delivery? I hate that...

They come off with a hair dryer and gental peeling. At least for the emblem ones, I'm not sure about the individual letter sticker-type. I guess it depends on what type of thing they stuck on.

I always write on the contract "conditional upon NO DEALER advertising on the car at delivery". Only once did I have a dealer drill holes to attach his nameplate, years ago. He replaced the trunk lid. Now, I think they are all removable.

No stickers of any kind were on our Clubbie and we forgot to ask not to do that. Just a chrome license plate holder advertising the dealership.

My dealer used this type and they just peeled right off. It's quite hot out though, but I only had to use my finger nail.

My dealer uses a badge of sorts. It is right next to the plate. I think it don't look bad.

I asked the dealer to leave the dealer badge off and they gladly did so. My MINI is totally sans dealer advertisements, but they get plenty of word-of-mouth advertising from me anyway.

I requested no badges upon delivery, but I did say that license plate holders are fine (I can remove those anyway if they look bad).

My MA knows that if one is on there when I come to get it I will make them remove it before any paperwork is signed.

I made a point of asking that no such decals or whatnot were placed on my MINI when I placed my order. My MA let me know that they didn't affix anything of that sort but did provide a dealer branded plate cover that I could opt not to install.

Whenever I have purchased a new car I have stated that no sticker or other dealer advertising unless they were willing to pay a sizeable monthly fee for the mobile ad.
I have also walked away from sales people who call me Bud, Chief, Sport, Stiffy or any other such inane references. You call call me Hey You but, do not call me Bud. There, I feel better now. Yes, I am going to go take my meds immediately.

I requested no decal, and my MA said no problem. When I showed up during the dealer prep, one of the guys in the back had already put a decal on Siva. I told him that I specifically requested no decal, and he hesitated for a moment, but did remove the decal. Before I took delivery I called my MA to verify there wasn't one, and he assured me there wasn't. So no problems here. I'll keep their license plate holder until I get something better.

+1 here too. Only a dealer license plate frame for us!

My MINI had one on it when I picked it up but it was quickly removed by the dealership upon my request.

My MINI didn't have anything on the outside, but the dealership had put some nasty, beaten up floormats inside. I immediately bought some MINI rubber mats to replace them.

I requested that my dealer not put their vinyl sticker (looks like individual letters to me) on my MINI and got confirmation from my MA that they wouldn't. (Saw it on a BMW from the same dealership the other day - an otherwise gorgeous black car, and the dealer sticker was crooked!)

I'll keep their free license plate holders until I get my own.

There were emblem-type badges on both of our MINIs when we took delivery, but I hadn't asked them *not* to put them on, because I generally remove them myself as soon as get the car home. Two minutes with a heat gun and they lifted right off.

I requested for them not to advertise. They abide d by my wishes.

Just ask and they will not put them on , or they remove them.
