I must be doing something wrong, because I can't top 34 mpg.

Of course I have a lot of stop and go on the way to work.... but still.

Wbarnhill, what do you mean by "door lock buzz"? I'm asking because I hear a buzz every time I get in my car adn I wonder if it is the same thing.

Almost two weeks later... Basically, it's like the plastic pieces of the door lock (the bit that goes up and down that you see) are vibrating against each other. The other lock doesn't do it, so I'm wondering why.

Anyhoo, I passed 4000 miles on Saturday...

How is everyone else doing?

I have about 2700 miles on mine. So far, I haven't had any problems. Thinking about getting an oil change next week. Figure I should be completely through any break-in period at this point.

One thing I've noticed is that my service interval indicator hasn't changed a bit. I know my MA said that it would go in spurts, but I expected to see a change by now!

Two months, 4500 miles, and I went ahead and did the first oil change on Siva, with some help from Roadodendron.

Fairly quick and easy, just a little messy on the tools and hands, a little dribble down the transmission housing. I was worried about hurting the filter housing, but no drips after I finished and more importantly, no dummy lights.

I didn't find the original crush washer though...

How's everyone else?

Things are going good. I have a little more than 3k miles and the car is still a blast to drive!

We've had Astro for 9 weeks now. 4500 miles and going strong. He is almost ready for his second oil change. Had the rear bumper replaced last week(some bozo was admiring the Mini and forgot to stop at the light).
Won "Best in Class" at a small show last weekend. Sorry about the pic, I didn't crop and size very well. Still learning.

5800 miles, plenty of laughs, a few gasps, and overall a blast. Siva's buzzing has been rectified, and he's loving the recent cold air running through his turbocharger.

Sweet!

Siva and I took a trip up to the mountains this weekend for some twisties in the leaves. He got filthy, but I'll try to remedy that today. On a side note, we've hit 7800 miles.
