I just called ASKMINI phone line and they said my MINI was "scheduled for production" with no production date set. When does the VIN get assigned and when will that info be passed along to me?

Thanks! I really did not anticipate being this obsessed with my new car.

 

I didn't get my VIN until it production actually started. I believe this is par for the course.

I had my VIN number before the MA even gave me a pen to write out the deposit check. They should be able to give it to you right away when you order unless they do not have a true production slot to give away.
