thanks all... I hope I dont disappoint anyone. I'll prolly not go as crazy with just the motor as with the whole performance aspect. The brakes and suspension need attention too. Still lots of stuff to lighten up so we'll see!

I want to have more of an all around monster this time than just a HP monster.

Any ideas on what you are going to do to the next version?

Paint change? Crazy motor again?

the paint over all will be the same. Indie blue. I did a rendering of the direction visually I will be going. The color is off cause the enviro is also blue. but here's what I have right now

As for the motor, I am not going to go as crazy with HP. I have learned a few things. Mainly that 300 WHP is where the mini was becoming an animal. 275 is still very docile. But that extra 25 is nuts. I will prolly go there at some point. But then do the suspension, brakes and go do some track events and kill some bigger cars.

I am still working with Hubie, Jan, and the like. We are still making HUGE power with MINIs, just not necessarily going to be mine when it comes to 1 milleon HP anymore

unless I get another one

I like it, esp the beltline blackout and and dechromed look.
Somehow I'm wanting to see a race spoiler on the rear, but that's just me.

nice render btw

haha thanks, considering what she looks like now, that's part of why I say it's a rebirth and to me a new car all together.

here's a render of what she looks like now. you can see how dramatic it is.

When you add that to the fact the motor is going to be completely different. You get a whole new thing. So the look will go with it. Not sure about a Name yet, but I am throwing around some ideas.

That last pic is Exactly how I am trying to get my mini to look. With my own twists here and there. I dont know if I will ever go with a monster motor like you but the styling is awesome. I think it was your car rendering I first saw before I got my car. I loved it so much.

I sure with you lived closer so I could see all the work in person.

Maybe I should take a road trip someday.

Wow, I am actually getting a bit depressed about this. Your MINI was the one I always pointed to when my friends say our cars are a joke. To echo a previous poster, long live Hal V2.

One of the photos of Hal parked outside a house has been my background for a while. I was talking to my friend today about it and to read this is just horrible. If I could create a Mini half as insane as yours I would be happy. Can not wait to see those renderings come to life, in Hal V2.

Just out of curiosity, what software did you use to render the images of Hal? I have some ideas I want to play around with with mine and whatever software you used worked

I volunteer my brain

Hal's death marks a sad time in the MINI world, but as one flower withers away, another blossoms

Coming from another Indi-Blue owner, which I might add is the bestest bluest MINI evah, I'm sorely going to miss HAL... recalling the first time I watched the video you made with DominicMiniCooperS... it really brought a tear to my eye... looking forward to when the mighty HAL returns, like a Phoenix from the ashes.
