Im at the South Bay BMW/Mini dealership in Torrance right now getting some warranty work done before my warranty runs out in 48 miles. I have to tell you that in this world where everyone is trying to screw everyone, the service has always been top notch here. These people bend over backwards to make sure you and your car are taken care of. I was really worried that with Jay no longer being here that things might have changed, but that is not the case. Stacey, the service writer is really nice and it turns out that I already know Brian (the guy servicing my car) from the Coogies meetings in malibu. Brians a really good guy and he is as knowledgeable about Minis as anyone. And, I figure anyone who owns a 500 HP Mini and keeps it running himself can work on my Mini anyday. It looks like my girlfriend is going to buy a Cooper for her son and we will definitely be buying it here!

 

Great story. Good to know that they took good care of you. It's not surprising though. They treated me extremely well through the purchase process.

While watching 'The Price Is Right' yesterday out of sheer boredom I was shocked to see that one of the showcase prizes was a brand new pepper white Cooper S from South Bay MINI. Bloody nice prize!

We bought all of our Minis and BMW's there, and have done so since long before they moved from Hermosa Beach. Jay in service has always taken care of us, and Amanda has been great as well (Amanda, my aunt is picking up her blue convertible today - she traded in her black R50. You probably know who I'm talking about )

 

I know exactly who it is HURT!!!! Your aunt is so happy she loves the convertible!
