I picked up my MINI in May and noticed that the little hubcappy thingys that say MINI on them, well, the lettering on them is very strange because I have 2 silver lettering and 2 blue lettering, one silver and one blue on each side of the car...is this standard, or is my MINI just "special?" (emphasis on the speeeeecccciaaaaalll...)

 

Ummm, I think its a protective plastic film (blue). My new caps had 'em, just
peeled 'em off.

 

Yep - plastic covers. Pull 'em and be uniform, or leave 'em and be speeeeecial.

thanks for the reply guys...I kinda think it matches my laser blue pretty well to have the blue protective film on! But I'll probably end up taking them off...weird that I only had 2 wheels with them, and I've already washed my car several times and couldn't tell they were films.
