Mini Mania?

Going to order a badge holder -- anyone have any experience with Minimania?

I'm asking because a different vendor was listed here and was either out of business or way behind and folks advised to always ask here before purchasing.

Yes. We just received an order from MiniMania. The item was backordered and took about a month for delivery. Really no problems except for the time it took to arrive.

Mini Mania is a well established supplier that you shouldn't have any problems with. They've been around for over 30 years. If you call the order in they'll give you stock information on the phone.

Just a note for you it looks like the badge holders that MiniMania carries may not compatable with the R55/R56 (clubman/hatchback)

Part number G2NMA1132 States "All models except R56/55 Cooper" in one place and then two versions available in another.

Part Number NMA7641 States is is only for the R50 and R53.

I would call them about it.

Also my dealer sells the correct badge holder for $25.00 which is less than one of the holders MiniMania sells and only $2.05 more than the other one.

So check with Classic Mini in Ohio and see what there price is as they give a NAM member discount.

I have noticed on a number of items MiniMaina is as much as 25% more expensive

Yep

Concur

Not the cheapest by far

but often have more on the shelf than most

very helpful over the phone

if they have it in stock, it comes fast

I get many of my classic parts from them

recommend checking with MOSS tho MOSSMINI.com they are the other 'big dog' in my opinion.

MINIMANIA has been very helpful on classic parts and esp when I ended up with the wrong thing and wanted them to take it back....

I ordered a bottle of Black Wow a week ago from MiniMania. When I still hadn't received a shipping notice from them, I called. The service rep looked up my order and said that it had never been shipped and didn't know why. Then he said "Well, do you still want it?" I would never order anything from this company again!
