Mini Truck

I am not a MINI owner, but I have been eyeing them for sometime now. My wife is more likely to get one before I do.

There was a MINI owners group that got together at the Pavillions car show Saturday night, and I spotted a MINI truck "creation". You may have all seen such things before but it was a first for me. I posted some pics on my FORUM if you are interested.

Yeah, drawings are alot cheaper too.

So..not being a Mini expert by any means, the truck model I spotted must be based on a older model, any idea of how old it is?

As I'm finding out...lol. Being in the bodyshop business, I've been watching wrecked minis for sale but obviously I'll need two.

Hopefully I can sell the remaining parts of what's left after I make a truck. If this happens, I'm modelling mine after that rendition.

It's not a "creation", it's an authentic Classic Mini model. Here's some info I found in a quick Google search:

The pickup you posted on your forum was built at the factory that way. Only the paint has been redone (and being a mini the usual rust and repair work) . They were made from 1962 to 1982. Here is my mini pickup. Check out my gallery for more pictures of it.
