I want one of those classic widebody Cooper S's so bad! Interestingly enough though, that looks like its a late 90's or 2000 model. They continued to produce the classic ones up until BMW bought the MINI brand. They later ones even had airbags and all the standard safety equipment!
though it does look like your MINI got a bit excited to see the classic parked alongside.
