MINI sized passing lane (video)

It is so satisfying to squeeze into parking spots or through tight lanes like this:

Looks like the bus had its left turn signal on.

Don't worry, you just can't see the right taillight. They were both flashing erratically and out of sync with each other. Likely some short-circuit I guess. The bus was still picking up passengers on the right side of the street and otherwise behaving as usual, though.

Close. It's Lexington Ave. I used to take this bus before I got my Mini Cooper.

Yeah, on second watch it's too narrow to be 3rd. I've been gone too long.

A MINI would have been nice to have in the city, but my bumpers would probably be scratched to hell...

Yeah, my bumpers are getting beat up from street parking, but with the $400/month garage fees around here, it's worth it for me.

That reminds me of my second driving test (the first one I passed). After a wrong turning, I was confronted with a typical narrow British suburban street with a big rig parked on one side and cars on the other. The gap was about 6 inches wider than a classic Mini, which is good because that's what I was taking the test in.

It's so much fun to hit the macadam that way. Keep up the cool videotapings.
