DENTS! ANGRY!

Yes, I'm angry. Someone twice has dented my car. Deliberately. Once a large dent on top of the hood right on the hump. Great big butt sized. Now today I find one on the roof near center drivers side. The only tree I park under is a magnolia in my front lawn. Unavoidable. We've not had hail here in years.

Does anyone know of a security system that will activate if the vehicle is struck or activate a camera with a motion sensor?

Thanks. I'm researching it now. I'd love something that could record out the windows discretely. Perhaps motion activated.

You could mount a motion activated camera on that tree you park under.... And get a car alarm. Home & auto security.

The problem is that I don't know if it's happening there or near the coffee shop I frequent.

What model was that. I'm looking at a brochure. Are "Responder" systems the one that notifies me or do the others (HF, XHF etc..) do it ast well?

Any chance it could be a big fat cat that's jumping down from that tree?

This would be a perfect job for Trunk Monkey.

Sorry dude that sucks. If you think its happening overnight while your mini is parked in your driveway putting a motion sensing light in the tree that spotlights your mini might be a good deterrent. I'd also consider a camera mounted in the tree to catch the culprit in the act as others have mentioned.

Bummer.

Check Cabelas, Gander Mountain, or any hunting store. There are lots of choices of motion activated cameras for scouting deer and such. Some have movie capabilities, night vision, infrared activation, etc.

+1 for the crossbow

Aw forget the neighbors. Motion sensor, electric solenoid, air tank and air horn.

I do like the game camera idea.

Or for a less lethal route... paintball marker, full auto, 300+ fps. I've got one or two you could borrow.

Extra bonus: Welts make them easily identifiable for the police.

Hmm hadn't thought of deer spotting equipment. I'll look into it.

Oh yeah, let's make it four times. I went home and did a walk around after work. found 2 more on the roof. Not happy.

That's messed up. You can't have anything nice anymore because some jerk will try to mess it up. At least they didn't key it. Hopefully you can get the dents popped out and never tell it happened.

I would leave it dusty and see if paw prints or butt prints appear on it the next day.

Damn really sucks that it keeps happening. It's gotta be the same person. Have you figured out where yet?

I'd be tempted to hide nearby so I could catch them in the act! With a camcorder to get some video of the a**hole and a cell phone to place an immediate call to the cops.

Well it is dusty now, but no prints. One of them is deep enough and small enough that it had to be a strike with a tool. But no paint chipping.
