delayed service a problem?
delayed service a problem?
As a new forum member I posted this under "1st gear," but it might be more appropriate here.
I bought my '06 JCW new, it now has 9600 miles, and my OBC says I have 650 miles until my first service. My problem is that I don't live anywhere near a dealer and I am moving this summer. During my move, I expect to be driving through Chicago when my service odometer runs down. However, it would be more convenient to get service in Cleveland where I'll be moving. I'd also like to get to know my new nearest dealer there. The problem is that my service will be around 400 miles overdue by then. I did get a dealer oil change around 3000 miles back. Are there any warranty problems (such as voiding the warranty) with delaying service?
