We just took our 1st road trip in our '08 CR/WR MCS this weekend from Boone, NC-Blue Ridge PKWY- to Gatlinburg, TN. Imagine our faces when we drove past "Star Cars Museum" and people were doing double takes as they strolled past the red "Italian Job" mini and then looked over at us in our red "mini! it was awesome! It was displayed out front for all to see even as you drive by on the strip along with "Herbie" and "Eleanor" from "Gone in 60 Seconds". By the way-our average 40.3 MPG!

 

Oh Yeah!! I know exactly what you are talking about!! I had my Husband take a picture of me in front of it last time we were there!!! I bet it was great seeing them look at the MINI in there and then back at your MINI!!

We are getting a Chili Red MCS!! We ordered it this month and expect it sometime in June!! We plan on taking a road trip down that way to the dragon!

 

Congrats on your new mini in June! Why not think about making your 1st road trip to the "Mini Takes The States" rally in Boston June 20-22? We're going-we don't know what to expect but it sounds fun!
