painted mirror caps- red checker

to match my newly bought wheels

wet sand the over spray and high edges.

i left a little border around the mirror cap edge for a little custom touch .the squares arnt perfect left to right but i tried my best to make a mirror image, but that's what makes them look hand made and not mail order stickers. next up, hot rod style trumpet look exhaust tip and paint on pinstripes on the hood

I recommended solid red caps but those really pop.

Really Nice ! I was thinking of getting checker caps in black and white , but the red and black looks way cool !

How do you remove the caps from the car ?

Did you use a Spray can of paint ?
Then Clear Coat ?

pull out the actual mirrors with some force and you will see 6 clips behind it. unclip them with a pick or small screw driver from the bottom 2 first and it should just kinda pop out. and if you cant tell froom those pic, i work at a body shop. i use automotive paint. but for something that small, high quality rattle can paint and clear should work if you know how to use them. they offer good result BUT the shine might not last as long as the real deal.

You seem to know how to paint pretty damn good. I wish my entire car had a clear coat like that.

Very nice, you could have a side line of business. Let me know if you decide to offer them.
