Ok, so I had my extra set of R84s powdercoated white & I picked them up last week and had them mounted w/sticky weights on Saturday. I spent the entire weekend painting my calipers, so I didn't have much time (or energy!) to wax the R84s before having them installed on Schultze.

However, this morning I woke up at 0530 as usual...but this time I had a SUDDEN burst of energy...(which is LIKELY to happen when your MINI has been at a collision center since mid-March and parts DIDN'T arrive until 04/18 and your local MOTD caravan is leaving in only E-I-G-H-T days!)...so I decided to use some "bright white" auto touchup paint + the accompanying primer to paint the sticky weights!

The "bright white" matched the white powdercoating PERFECTLY and unless you really look for the weights, you can't see 'em!

Has anyone else painted their wheel weights to match their wheel color?

I ordered a set of Wet Okoles on March 31st, so HOPEFULLY they'll arrive before MOTD, too!

Sheesh...so much to do, so little time!

 

What color Okoles did you order? Post pictures when you can. I have similar color scheme and want to order some to. Want to add some color to my car, thinking red Okoles and red gauge face replacements.
