Poor Head light range after adding lowering springs
Poor Head light range after adding lowering springs
Help, last week I had the ALTA lowering springs installed on my 2006 MCS, they really made the car look great. Tonight coming home from the Mid Columbia Mini Meeting in Richland, Wa and I noticed.....I could not see.
The range of the head lights are about 15 feet out and at 65mph they are useless. Has anyone else encountered this and if so what is the fix? Can you adjust the headlights to compensate for the lowering of the car?
Help please.
Gary

Yup, there should be two set screws on the back of the headlight housing, one for up and down, one for left and right. They're marked with what direction does what. Here's a good guide to know how to adjust them correctly.

Thank you very much! I was so happy with the lowering springs but when I saw the range issue tonight it was oh crap.
Is this common to mini's when you lower them?
Thanks again Electron Mike.
