Palo Uber "down"

It is bryce who was sick... But I am listed as a "dealer" for europe but can't get any contact... for weeks now*.. I live in the netherlands so calling is my latest option...
I really don't like that they promiss me something new and never mailed me again after that... :s
* so I don't think they ignore more because of the fact that someone has died :(
With all do respect.. I hope they will make contact again because I got loads of orders for spoilers.. lightbars etc...
If they read here to.... My deepest condolences.. I wish the family all the strength they need!

Per Coen_de_K's post, and as shown on PU's website, he (Coen de Korte Netherlands) is also a dealer for PU. This is even more insulting since CDKN is their European link, along with MINI Mania UK. What a slap in the face!!! In addition, PU has the time to announce another new offer on NAM:

This is crazy. In PU's announcement, they claim they got an overshipment of lightbars from "Palo Uber London". HELLOOOOO!!! HEY PU, how about helping out your dealer, Coen de Korte Netherlands. You are on the same continent! Maybe that's where your order ended up. The bloody twits in London sent them to the geniuses in Newport Beach, CA!
Coen_de_K you have my sympathies. Perhaps you should consider cutting off the limb to save the body, IMHO.

They sent me a replacement set. The rusted as well. That was a year ago...hopefully something has changed since then.

Likewise with their UK address contact information - the address is a Mail Boxes Etc. box, and their telephone number is a cellphone.

This is a vendor that simply buys other company's products and rebadges them. Sometimes they may add an additional step, like spray-painting it black. They most likely keep a very small stock and order in response to a sale. Why would they need a "real" facility? (I think I remember reading that they do have a store somewhere, I believe, in CA, but I'm not sure).

Actually, that address is just their "Mail Boxes Etc." drop box. If you look at the address listed on their business license, it's a private residence. I don't know *where* the hell their actual store is, if they have one.

I wonder if NAM checks the credentials of its vendors that they invite to advertise. I also wonder if they, in good faith, will continue to allow them here in light of all the poor customer service we have known PU to give. After all, we as members are held to standards in the form of posting etiquette. Why not the same for these vendors? If they fall below a certain standard/percentage/rating....BOOM...OUTTA HERE! Hard to believe that MINI WORKS and MINI-Madness (although I have had issues with MM on a purchase, but that's another story) scored lower than PU, but everyone else is rated at 8 or above!

Maybe vendors get a probationary period to rectify issues. It sounds simple in theory, and of course it has to be fair to both sides. Sounding like contemporary jargon...we need a NAM Vendor-Member Bill of Rights. Hope that is not too political!

No arguments to that point. However, I am not looking for coddling. Just preventative measures so newbies don't get sucked into the PU vortex due to ignorance and before they do any research. You are right, their business should right itself, or pack it in naturally.
