Dubbed the MINI Killer!
I don't even think it can handle my 2003 MCS on an autocross course.
I was under an Alfa Milano at Goodies last week...
Bring it
The more the merrior . I think that with short cuts like this :
Though the rear suspension is the fairly unsophisticated torsion bar setup and not state-of-this-segment multi-link, the dampers as used on the Fiat Grande Punto Abarth sister car have shown us that Fiat Automobiles knows what its doing.
It will have a interesting time dealing with R-53 and R-56 with many years of dialing in under their belts . Should be fun though.

So true...
from an Autoblog story on US Alfas maybe being made in Mexico or the US....
"Besides, those shop queens were so joyous to drive, they made suckers out of all of us, and we'd do it again, given the chance. "
Even my little Fiat 124 spider fits this. Took two years to really shake out, and all 80 hp of it was a blast every day I drove it.

Heck
it started with 60! Then I upped the displacement a bit. It's amazing what you can do with a little motor and a 4.37:1 rear end! I think red-line was about 12 mph in first, so it could spin the tires getting there. But dispite the "fix it again tony" moniker, you could build a 1.8l that would spin 13k RPM (mini didn't), and it had four wheel disc brakes with Al calipers at all corners. The solid rear axle has a padhard bar, and coil overs at all corners. And a trunk mounted battery mounted in the middle for weight distribution improvements. Gotta make most of what you got, that's the key.
