General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
the 924/944 had rear tortion arm rear suspensions. It's got more camber gain than the multi-link on the Mini. Nothing wrong with it if it's done right. Other than working on them with thier massive amounts of pre-load!
actually it's mostly the car press that creates this image of these cars going after the MINI and making them "MINI killers". Yes our car is a benchmark and that's cool, but it's certainly not without flaws... it's not perfect, some people get a little too overprotective...

I know the article says comparably priced to MINI, but based on the pricing I'm seeing for the other Alfa offerings, I'll bet it starts at over $30K - way too much to me........just as I'll bet the 160 hp Abarth Fiat 500 will be well over $30k when/if it get's here..........

True! I agree..........But don't all niche or enthusiast cars have flaws?
There are lots of cars that could *** US mini sales..
BMW even has one. The 130i M hatchback. Europe only, 270ish HP NA 3 liter 6. Low $30k. Effin' BMW keeps some of their best cars in Europe only. And what sucks is the US is BMWs best market! They just keep milkin the cow....
