My MINI is a daily driver. In 16 months it has almost 40k miles. I plan to drive 'er til she dies, and then revive her and keep on going My commute itself is only about 20 minutes each way, but I often do a lot of running around the state to away games and a lot of road travel so we put on a lot of miles. So far, the only issue has been a bad steering joint, replaced under warranty *knock on wood*
