Does the mini warranty or service cover alignments? My MCSa is due for one & was wondering if anyone knew if it was covered?

 

Alignment is not included in the warranty. They will do the alignment if you request it, but rest assured you will get a bill for it.

You can see exactly what is included in each of the services in the "Owners Lounge". You will have to register you car in order to use the lounge, but once you are in go to "Your MINI", then find "Maintenance Schedule" on the left. From there make sure it shows the correct information for your car and then select which service you want to see from the drop down menu.

Why do you think you need an alignment? Are the tires wearing unevenly? How many miles?

I now have over 55,000 smiles and have never felt the need for an alignment. I am careful in the winter time and dodge the potholes as much as I can. I also have the 16" wheels which are more forgiving than the 17s or 18s.

Thanks I have 16's now with uneven tire wear but the new 17's will be here soon. Also does anyone know what an alignment should cost or where to get one? I tried midas & they could not do it something about weight bags? Then tried Firestone & they said they could until I asked if they had weight bags & one guy said we just put someone in the car & the other said you cant do that! So I left there to.
