track time
Check with your local BMW club. They probably have a HPDE. Or look up the local chapter of the SCCA or NASA. Check with a local MINI club and ask around for who attends track days.

The earliest LRP HPDE would be with SCDA. I hope to be there testing the new race car. SCDA is a great group, but I will always recommend joining and participating with the BMWCCA. I think they do the best job out there if you are a beginner.
The Boston chapter is the best chapter in the northeast, along with the White Mountain Chapter. They do most things together it seems.
Once you are a member of the BMWCCA you can attended any chapter's track day. I believe that the CT Valley chapter also has an LRP track day early in April.
LRP is one of the more expensive tracks out there so don't get scared off from looking into other tracks. Your closest track is New Hampshire International (NHIS), and you'll find a ton of track days up there. Fun track, a little rough, but a great place to start.
PM me if you need any input. Maybe we'll meet in spring.

I posted my response in the other thread with the same topic...
And Greg is right, Lime Rock is very expensive, and they cannot have events on Sundays. NHIS is cheaper, available weekends, has real garages to use, requires you to turn in both directions
etc, etc.
