How many pairs will they sell to MINI owners?

No rolled heel. :(

But I gotta get some pink ones... since none look very BRG.

I've seen them on a fellow MINIac though - matches his very checkered JCW.

These would work well for out and about, but for HPDE's, you might be in trouble--some will allow nothing other than a tie shoe. Just depends on what you're doing. I really like the adidas Porsche line of shoes; a bit pricey, but a very nice shoe.

I remember kenchan posting on some cool looking driving shoes he likes, but for the life of me I can't remember what they were called. That happens sometimes at my age...

What about Shoes for Winter Driving? Here in Wisconsin, it's not exactly like it is in Florida or California. I do have some Nunn Bush Shoes which do work, but they are rather thin all the way around so they are also not that warm; especially when it's -10 degress outside at some points.

Shoes that have grip in slippery conditions, are comfortable and warm, and best of all they work as driving shoes is what I need.

I have a pair of piloti prototipo. I switch them out with regular shoes before I walk anywhere, and back upon my return.

I take a size 12, regular width I think. Ive never had a pair of nikes or adidas shoes, but piloti's 12 seems to be the same as new balance's 12 and rockport's 12.

I motor in my Diesel Remy's. They seem pretty similar in soul slimness to these that MINI are touting, and not terribly different in price. The slim soul gives me a better feeling of the accelerator. I've tried driving in my Docs, and my acceleration was all over the place. Such big heavy shoes are just too awkward in such a wee car.

Since those are not ANY kind of proper driving shoe, I'll keep my Puma Speedcats.

I was referring to the checkered Vans.

Piloti's are great from what I hear. They just don't fit me.

+1

I'm either wearing Pilotis or I'm barefoot!
Tried the Pumas, didn't like the fit and they were to narrow for me to "heel & toe".
