Lego MINI Cooper - Challenge!

I'm not too sure about this one. Can you top it?

Build a Mini Cooper out of LEGOs and post pictures of it here.

Looks good though!

I downloaded that custom lego builder program, and it is pretty complicated. I guess it would be easier if I was a 10 year old. LOL!

One thing I don't like about it is not all Lego parts and colors are available for you to choose from

Next time I think I'll try to build a bigger one.

I've got tens of thousands of pieces of lego lying around, but don't quite have the time right now to make a Lego MINI. One thing is for sure, if I did make a MINI out of lego, it would have working doors, engine, steering, hatch, the works.

I really need to get back into lego. Since I was around 5, I would always build things. Ah, the memories.

If I do eventually get around to it, I'll make a mention of it on NAM.

But would it look like a Mini?

The Mini Cooper's curves are pretty hard to duplicate in Legos. Especially if you plan on making working doors, hood, and hatch.

I'd like to see what you come up with

We should get MINI on board with this so they can commission the pros to do one, like this volvo.

Who knows, I have no artistic style whatsoever.

I might have gone a little ahead of myself with the working doors and hatch, but it would be interesting to motorize the engine and have steering as well. It would be even cooler if I could somehow make a supercharger out of lego and when the revs go up, you can hear the whine. Unlikely though.
