General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
Yesterday, while being my clutsy self, I twisted my foot and ended up popping a ligament. I'm now on crutches and cannot put weight on it for days. Joy. However, being a crazy MINI owner, first thing that went thru my mind when the pain hit my foot was "OH NO! NOT THE CLUTCH FOOT!!" Of course, once the Rodeo is back on the road, hopefully tomorrow, I should be able to drive it since it's automatic but it's just not the same by far. I LOVE my car and I'm completely bummed out now. Just haven't decided if I'm more bummed about being hurt or not being able to motor!
The clutch foot is better than the other (accelerator/brake) foot. At least the clutch foot is not in use the entire time you're behind the wheel.
Of course, I do agree that it's better to hurt the clutch foot then the other. I will still be able to drive the other vehicles this way. I just had to laugh at myself because my first thought had to do with my ablility to drive my MINI. And now my husband gets to drive him while I recover....it's just not right.
