cars get towed all the time and nobody bats an eye. parking violations, breakdowns, etc. anybody seeing it happen ever stop to question the tow truck driver (or even think twice about it)?

We just watch people use slim jims all the time and dont ask questions or just listen to car alarms go off without batting an eye. Just act like you belong and know what your doing and nothing will be said to you. Sad but we are a very disconnected society anymore.

Where you guys there when it happened......?
I to thought it was quite difficult to jack a mini without the key....Outside Job?
Sounds like someone's been watching the shop.......!!
Any security cameras in the surrounding area...
That really sounds strange to me!
That is so wrong!
Best luck on a speedy recovery!

Seems like that property should have been guarded.

I would not be surprised if some of the parts get listed here.

Sorry to hear this. It may be better that it isn't found at this point, because Who knows what abuse it endured while the thieves had it.

Noticed that after re-reading it.
That only makes it more strange in my opinion.
Someone had to know it was there and what it was running with!
Any neighbors near?
No one was at Randy's house while it was taken huh?
I wouldn't be surprised either to see some parts on NAM.
I doubt it though, the person would be really stupid to do that!
Pictures...parts list...anything that can allow us to help on our ends would be great.
Best Luck!

I never thought it would be Randy.... I was saying someone near to his location. Who was aware of the caliber of the car to make it worth a job like this!
Sorry for not being clear.

It just sounds odd to me...
A few years back before thanksgiving I was living with friends, we were all doing video production out of our flat in NYC.
My roommate made friends with some of the locals..
Come thanksgiving and the locals knowing we were away.

Lets just say I came home from Thanksgiving to all my equipment gone...
Computers, cameras, monitors, dvd's, gaming consoles, turntables, mixers.

So all I was trying to say was someone near was aware....possibly.

This was stolen from a residential property in a typical suburb of Denver....it was at night.

are cars stolen often in this part of Colorado?
Let alone Loaded Mini's.........
Parked where they are only getting more tricked out!
I wouldn't be surprised if some punk of a neighbor wanted it for himself and grew a nice big set of ***** on Saturday evening.....!!
If there was a flat bed needed that makes it more of a planned out thing...
So it had to be someone in watching distance...
is his neighborhood high traffic or more wooded residential?

dude... seriously, im sorry to read about this. Mine is on order and I would literaly die if anything happened before I've had it but that thing is one of a kind. you have a better chance of winning the lotto than actually being able to get your hands on that thing. I'm really sorry, i'll keep my eyes pealed on i-75 in Gainesville for you. They are really rare around here.

That is good news. I hear it's rare to find stolen cars. Most thiefs would take the car somewhere else, but I guess Denver is pretty big.

Were they able to catch the car thief? Had it been resold? Did the buyer even know the car was hot?

No damage anyone can see.

So it was missing for about five weeks. The owner should not be surprised to get a court summons for crimes committed with the car and/or traffic cam tickets.

Since the car's back, were they able to determine exactly how it was stolen? (i.e. was the ignition broken/hotwired/replaced, or did the thieves have a key to the car?)
