What in the world...
um, I concur.
Airbag suspension?
Doesn't seem like it, maybe he just eased the car into that hill so it stood up.
Doesn't even really look like 4 wheel drive?
Probably not.
Why? Official BMW instructor?
Uh, cuz they can.
WTH?

i really doubt it was any kind of trick airbag susp. Assuming the suspension is stiff enough to support that kind of weight on three tires, anyone with a mini could do that if you find the right hill and take it at the right angle and speed: IMO
and i think the "4x4" is refering to the type of driving being done, not the actual drive train of the car

That just shows how stiff the Mini is. If you jack up the front on one side, the rear will pretty much lift off the ground. All that guy did was drive down a little hill that leveled the front of the car and caused one wheel to lift.
It for sure wasn't' a 4X4 since the rear wheels didn't move after they got off the ground.
Neat trick though.

Neat trick, but with the right hill (which he had) you could do this in any Cooper at your kid's soccer game. The front weight bias keeps the front tires on the ground, and the stiff chassis does the rest.
I used to do this onto/off of my driveway when I left for/came home from work. My rear-tire-to-ground distance was more like 6" though, not 2 feet!
Neat bit of driving!
