Would anyone want MINI to have a new body style?

I'm really not sure why you quoted my post in your reply. I never said anything about the differences between the 1st-gen/2nd-gen MINI. All I was saying is that I think BMW will be watching to see how the Smart car does in the U.S. before they would seriously consider coming out with a new MINI that's as small as a classic Mini. Personally, I'd love to see it happen as an *additional* model, not as a replacement for the current-sized MINI.
