UH-OH Loaner scrape

So I take my car in this morning to get the missing door seals put on(R56). They give me a loaner. I see the key and its a BMW 328i sedan. So we walk out to the car and it is parked nose in.

It an automatic.

After a month and a half learning a manual I am total unaccustomed to it. You know reaching for the clutch and hitting the brakes. So am completely rattled. Backing up and the car stops with a bump. What I did see in the dark was that there was a concrete dock not a car length away. So now there is a softball size scrape on the rear bumper. So now my free loaner is going to probably cost me 500 deductible.:impatient

I just need to tell my story.

Also after driving this car my day dreams of owning a BMW sedan are completely gone. It feels FAT and slow compared to MCS. The slow I understand. (no turbo duh.) The interior is nice I guess. But without the big speedo (or the digital readout) I really can't tell how fast I was going without thinking about where to look. I learned that I would NOT trade my car for one of these EVEN if they paid me to.

Pffftt... just bring it back and drop it off. Odds are they wont' care. Half the loaners I've had have been "pre dinged". As long as it's not some huge dent they'll probably just ignore it.

droped off

You are correct i dropped it off. Even after calling them and telling them early in the day and the didn't say anything. ::crossfingers:: I just the hope the other shoe doesn't drop. I want to be honest and that is the reason that I called them.

Dose anyone know how long they have to file?

You are correct I would have been very depressed if it had happened to my mini.
