Just speculating here but when do you think the current R56 will get it's next major revision ala 2005 models? I'm glad I got a 2005 b/c of all the revisions such as the slight power increase, shorter gear ratios, MP3 CD player and so on.

If history is one indication then the 2010 model year? But the R56 cabrio is supposed to be out for the 2009 MY so maybe then.

What do you guys think the revisisions might be? I see a slight facelift just like what MINI did for the 2005 models. I also see a new "key" design. I hope that true b/c the current one looks like the Starship Enterprise that's about to dock . I also hope MINI would revise the center stack.

My warranty expires on 2009 so I guess it would be perfect timing if I decide to trade. Hopefully the MINI resell value remains above average. But the new BMW 128i looks mighty nice right now. But I then I digress.
