New Member Posting in NAM as a CHILI RED owner
OK, first post should include what I'm driving around in now. My ride has changed and will change a little more. Guess this is a good a time as any to pop a pic of where I'm at now. I'll keep updating as progress is made.

I had one on my last mellow yellow Mini for 3 years and just had it put on my new Chili Red Mini. It was applied by the dealer and I was very happy with it. It was so nice not to have to worry about stone chips in the front and it held up very well. While I could see it on the mellow yellow (if I looked close), it is hardly noticeable on the chili red. It was the 3M brand, I believe. It remained clear, too.

Official resignation from CROC
I regret filing this official notice to remove me from the CROC register. Swifty served me well as #89. Someone else can take my number, BUT, but only if they take a picture with their baby at sunset (or sunrise). 
I feel like I'm dumping a long-time girlfriend for a younger and more sophisticated one. 
I think most of you will sympathize with me in writing this letter that will go with the records for Swifty:
To the next owner,
If it isn't crushed.............
This car served me well.

It would be a shame to kill him. He really wants to be turned into a race car. I would have liked to try the mini class at the local 1/8 mile dirt track, I was timed within 5 seconds of a race lap. Swifty kicked *** at Firebird when I was a member of ProAutosports.
This isn't just another POS worn out commuter car. He still has spirit.
And yes I'm a nut. Better than drugs!

I have a 2012 Chili Red MCS HT with the clear front mask and it is great. This is the second car I have had with the clear mask and I have been very pleased both times. I have the 3M product. Just make sure you find a good installer and you will not be disappointed.

Hello to All:
I am Carl from the Panhandle of Florida and this is my first my MINI. Eventually, I will take the car to Pensacola Beach for some beach shots. This is a very cool car!!! So I will need a number in order to be an official CROC member.

Thanks very much! Picked up my car on 20 Oct and I absolutely love it. Coming up on two weeks tomorrow, and have already gotten a lot of compliments on the "total Chili Red" -- I have a red top and mirrors, too. Still trying to figure out how to post photos, just need a little dedicated time.

Took your advice and that of Sandylp and had the 3M product installed on my new Chili Red MCS HT. The dealership uses a great installer and I am really happy with his work. While the mask is under warranty for 5 years, he said it should look really good for 8. Seems it has the same clear coat as the car's paint . . . it's really quite invisible, and I couldn't even tell it was there without really looking for it. Now planning to do window tint in early spring.
