GPS Nav system.in my new MINI does not work....any body else had the same problem??

GPS Nav system.in my new MINI does not work....any body else had the same problem??
My new MINI has the GPS system in it and although is looks real cool and the radio part works, the Navigation system does not will not give me directions to anywhere nor put up a map? Anybody else have the same problem ??
