Tommy -

Sorry about your incident. But, as you infer, everything has a way of creating a new opportunity.

Feel free to check out my gallery for the Aero Kit tranformation I made during repair work. Sounds like you are considering the same. My recommendation is to go for it...you won't regret the decision.

Depending on your state laws, it may not cost you anything to have it repaired.

Uninsured Motorist coverage may pay for everything or all but a little bit. In the four states where I work, our UM deductibles range from $200-300.

Check it out with your insurance company.

Tommy, this requires some serious countermeasure. You simply must do the Aero kit to save FACE, Mini's face perhaps, but looks are important to a car w/ feelings.

On the other hand, this may have been Karma done unto YOU, and the slate has been wiped clean.
