Oh no! I guess I won't be adding any more goodies to Sheila. I hope you can retrieve most of those mods so they can be donated to your next MINI.

Oh wow...those photos make me tear up, both for you and for Sheila. You loved her and she obviously loved you, based how how well she took the proverbial "bullet" for you.

Amazing...these photos always make me so sad, but make me feel ever safer driving Clara.

Dude, I am so bummed about it. Starting my second pak of American Spirts and it just 8pm. Progressive is offering a little over $17k. Don't know I think they went by NADA. They are picking it up at the tow yard tommarow to an auction house all I got was the push button start panel, Shift indicator and euro shelf. I wanted camber plates though, control arms and all engine stuff was intact. I will drown myself in a pool of Patron and wash it all away

Wow, sorry to hear that. Too bad it didn't happen around here so you could have bought it back from the insurance company and parted it out.

Pictures of You (Sheila)

That picture is from Sunday afternoon, during some spirited motoring. Brings tears to my eyes, but a smile to my face as well. The last photos of her.

howsoonisnow1985,

So sorry to hear about your loss. Glad to see that your fine.

You can be proud and take solace in the fact that Sheila did her job well, protecting her occupant(s).

Godspeed Sheila.

That is too bad. Sorry to hear about your pool little MINI. Was she an organ donor? I am sure that all of her good parts will make their way to some of our cars in the future.

The pics don't show any of the airbags to have gone off. Lot's of damage, especially the left rear and rear bumper, without setting off the airbags.

Howsoonisnow1985 - Sorry for you loss. From your first hand experience in this accident did you feel the airbags should have deployed?
