Please, go get any pain you have documented now, or they won't cover you later....and don't be afraid to accentuate it.....just incase you need some care down the road.
Following up with this good advice--I had a major accident in a BMW, and experienced severe pain in my back. Because of it I was LifeFlighted to Houston's "#1" trauma center, and underwent various x-rays and CT scans. I was then told it was a "mild back strain," and I went through a year of agony before I wised up and went to an orthopedic surgeon, who also took x-rays. Any IDIOT could have seen the break in my back--in fact, 5 doctors have dropped their jaws at the word that Houston's "finest" missed it. And I say the word bitterly, because some treatments were no longer available due to bony changes over the previous year.
While you probably don't have this situation, it is a lesson I learned the hard way. Don't make my mistake!
Yeah, to add insult to injury, I can't even sue for malpractice because of a change in the law regarding hospitals/ER docs. And there really would have been a fix for the injury...before.
Good to hear it all worked out for you. I also live in the Portland are and have been run into at least 3 times, not in the mini though. Every time insurance has paid for my damage repairs, and I always let my insurance agent know that I was hit, even though they don't have to pay out.
My R56 was rear ended about a month ago. It was about $750 to replace the whole thing, including rear fog light. Fortunately the idiot who hit me had insurance.
