How to Change Air Filter?

Are there any general notes floating around here on how to change the standard air filter on a MCS? Probably simple, but there's all kinds of stuff around the air box, so I just want to check.

Also, I see there is a Normal air filter and a "cold climate" air filter. I'm in Eastern PA. Which filter do we use?

Thanks,
Lee

Hey ..... OBs Dad!

I sent you the directions. I have no clue about the cold climate stuff!! I still say you need a CAI or the drop in K&N filter.

Otto's MINI treated us well today!

Got the directions thanks!

Will consider CAI. Looking at Craven and a couple of others.

Thanks for the directions! What a PITA this is, even have to unplug the computer to change the air filter. LOL.

Cheers!

if you don't want the CAI here is a good replacement filter, it can be clean hundreds of times before needing replace. should last you the last as long as the car.

Just looking at the printed manual, shows disconnecting the ECU on th Cooper S. Will dig in tomorrow and see what's what.
