I've been messing around in Photoshop w/ a scan of page 133 of the R56 Cooper owners manual. Here's the results...an 8x10 of my MINI!!!


Use the magic wand to delete the white and then draw/color behind the line drawing!! It's hard to see here, but I even included my English Oak steering wheel!!

Thing is, since I have the line drawing in Photoshop (and am willing to share), anybody could easily recolor this to make a graphic of their very own MINI regardless of color combo...just color it in with Photoshop!! It is very hard to find a pic of your exact MINI...something like this could be a good first step.

Now that I think of it I have a few other files that are similar. Remember the R56 Cooper sketches that were on MotoringFile? I took those and isolated the body color so I could have an Oxygen Blue version of the cool R56 original renderings.

If any one want these files I can try to send somehow...but you might be able to do better starting over, especially if you want something w/ very high resolution. The one I did was only about 200 dpi. I should have gone higher but hey, it looks great in an 8 x 10 frame!!
