Problems Sleeping Before Delivery

This week I have been really stressed out waiting to take delivery on my new car. I've been doing some bizarre things in my sleep.

I can only explain it as my girlfriend tells it, because I don't remember.

Monday night: In the middle of the night I took our comforter and I folded it in half, so it was doubled up. I then took it and covered my girlfriend up with it. She then pulled it off cause she was too hot. I then put the comforter back on her, and went on to tuck it underneath every inch of her body. Kind of like she was in a cocoon. Well she got mad and again said she was hot. I told her she didn't know what she was talking about and needed to be tucked in. So again, I fold the comfoter in half, and I cover her with it and tuck it underneath all over.

That night she had gone to lay down rather early, and I didn't tuck her in like I usually would. So I guess I really was upset I never tucked her in.

Tuesday night: In the middle of the night I took off the comforter and I rolled it up long ways, and put it in between me and my girlfriend. I then took the pillows and put those in between us. In the end it was like a big divider between her and I.

I guess I was trying to build some kind of barrier.

It's some bizarre behavior which is unlike me.
I don't take delivery until Friday. So I still have two nights left.

Oh man, lol, I'm glad I had a MINI to help me through the delivery process. I do some crazy stuff in my sleep on a regular normal basis.
haha.

This was my husband awaiting delivery day. :impatient

Dr Tigs recommends you buy a Plushie, sleep on the couch, and call my office on Saturday morning after delivery. My prognosis is...life will return to a normal pattern once you take delivery.

You think it is bad now, wait until you get your MINI. I didn't sleep for a week. I was up at all hours of the night wanting to drive the car. I have even known people that have slept in their MINI the first few nights.

about sleeping IN the MINI--do the seats go all the way back?

I don't know... and I also wouldn't want to sleep-drool on the leatherette.

The seats do go back quite a ways. Enough for me to fall asleep in mine, anyways. I have the sport seats, it feels as if mine is hugging me as I fall asleep
