Vanity plates
The Mini inherited the vanity plates from my last daily driver, which is N2 BEADZ. I have an entire formal dinning room that is now and hobby bead and jewelry designing area. I also do lampworking which is torching glass rods into beads.
I have SHLBY JR on reserve, since the color of my Mini just happens to some what look like the hubby's Shelby Cobra GT500. His plates reads, LIFS FAST.
Then our F150 reads, RUGONUP. It's ARE YOU GO'N UP, as in to heaven for those not to religious folks.

I think it's funny I actually decided not to get vanity plates on my mini cooper because I felt like it would speak for its self. Plus people always ask me what my plate means and it gets annoying. Although I did consider getting 1 MINITE.
I think it is a PASSION of the car you own.
Porsche, Vette, other exotics ..
I have always had different plates.
I am COR BLMY

My second choice plate is still available in Ohio, but I'm pretty sure my gf will disown me if I get vanity plates on my (eventual) new Mini. My planned excuse - "But, it's a Mini!"
GO TPLS - my boss' Mercedes convertible
WHAT THE - some random SUV in the Worst Buy parking lot today
I haven't noticed many of the Minis around here with vanity plates, but I'm pretty sure VW requires every single New Beetle owner to get them.

It definately seems like a lot of MINI owners have vanity plates but I think thats just part of the fun of owning the car. Ive only had 2 vanity plates, the old one was on my Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX and was GSXTACY. I knew over a year before I even ordered my MINI what plate I wanted. For those who dont understand, it means the car handles likes its on rails
I never wanted vanity plates on any of my other vehicles. I didn't plan on having them on the MCS, but when the regular gold Alaska plates arrived I completely changed my mind. Ick! Fortunately we have a few different choices for vanity plates here.
I decided to try for MINIAC. I didn't think this would be available, seeing how popular it has been in other states. Alaska's DMV website allows you to check if your choices have been taken, and wow - MINIAC was available! I instantly clicked the "purchase now" button and have been smiling ever since. Photos are in my gallery...
