Last Friday, I ordered a MINI from the dealer in Nashville, I was wondering... the website, the MINIUSA website's owner's lounge, says "in production" and yet I've seen several "production week XX support group" threads. How do you know which week yours goes into production and what is this horrible thing I've heard about called "vacation" where apparently the factory is shut down for 2 weeks!? Noooo!!!

Anyways, just looking for some info on that. Thanks!

 

The production week is based on the week in which your Mini is completed. If it is scheduled to be completed this week (the weeks run Sun-Sat) then you are in week 29. If it finishes production after this upcoming Saturday then you'd be in week 30.

If you call ASK MINI it may tell you the estimated completion date. I think it should give you that info at your stage of production (the estimated completion date that is).
