Hot off the rumor mill!! the R60!
The added weight and complexity is simply useless to me. Long term costs are going to be higher. Fuel economy will be worse. Maintenance costs are higher.
Technology for the sake of technology irritates me. The base Cooper does not have enough power to warrant 4 wheel drive.

AWD has no benefit to me and far too many detriments. For me, it is technology for the sake of technology.
It was all I could do to accept a front wheel drive car. I would prefer rear wheel drive.
There is no *might*. Mechanical devices need repair or maintenance from time to time. No one, to my knowledge, has been able to build anything that lasts forever without some level of work having to be done on it. The more mechical bits, the more the costs to keep it running. I keep vehicles for 10 years.

I was thinking catfish but carp works too. Either way it's ugly!
I did notice that is a pretty bad photoshop mock up so I doubt there's any reality in that design (at least I hope not)
